WHY NATTO

Natto. Yes. Natto.

The infamous ‘fermented soybean’ of Japan that has a lot of people squirming just at the sight of it. It’s not just foreigners, even Japanese people either hate it or love it.

Natto has a very special flavour unique to fermented food. It is similar to that of aged cheese, which gives the dish that extra complexion if you can get past the slimy texture.

Natto is actually very nutritious, cheap, very easy to find, and delicious (for some), making it an amazing addition to your diet.

Even if you don’t like it, it is possible to train yourself to love it, and I’m speaking from personal experience.
